A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Mirai van Dun, a passionate UX/UI designer based in Haarlem. With a background in Communication Multimedia Design from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, I’m dedicated to creating intuitive and user-centered digital experiences 🎨. After taking a break to travel through Japan and South Korea 🌏, I realized just how much I missed design, and now I’m fully ready to dive back into it 💻.

I’ve worked on a range of projects, from designing digital tools for museums to creating high-fidelity prototypes 🖥️. I approach each project with a balance of strategic thinking and empathy, ensuring the design process is always user-focused while aligning with business goals 🎯.

I thrive in both independent and collaborative environments 🤝, and I’m constantly learning and evolving to stay ahead of the curve 📚. Whether it's refining usability, enhancing accessibility, or translating complex data into simple, elegant interfaces, I’m always up for the challenge 💪.

When I’m not designing, you can find me strength training 🏋️, rollerblading 🛹, taking care of my plants 🌱, or spending time with friends 👯. These activities keep me energized and creative, allowing me to bring fresh perspectives to my work.

Feel free to explore my portfolio and get in touch if you’re interested in collaborating or learning more about my work!

Let’s make something awesome together — drop me a line!
